This charcoal facial sponge is created in Japan using 100% plant-based fibers and is biodegradable. Charcoal infusion helps to draw out daily impurities. The sponge is ideal for daily use, especially for those with sensitive and acne-prone skin.
How to Use: For the first use, soak the sponge in warm water for 10-15 minutes until it puffs up and rehydrates. It will expand about 50% and be soft and squishy like spongecake.
Daily Use: Soak briefly in warm water to rehydrate. You can use the sponge alone or with your favorite cleanser. Rub in circular motions to remove dirt from the pores without scratching the skin. After every use, rinse out completely, press between palms to remove excess water, and hang to dry. Never wring out the sponge as it can damage or alter the shape. With proper care, the sponge can last 3-6 months.
After 3 Months: Replace or sanitize the sponge. It can be boiled in water, or saturated in water and microwaved for 20 seconds to sanitize. If it smells funny, becomes discolored, or looks off, discontinue use and throw it away. It is a natural product and can grow mold or bacteria if not properly handled.
